Create a page audit

Sign in, add a public page to a project, select an evaluation and device, and start its report.

Prepare a page and choose an audit type

Sign in and choose a URL that opens without a private session. Decide which question and device you need to evaluate.

Open Page Audits from the dashboard, then open an existing project or select New project. Inside the project, use Add pages to discover pages or add an individual URL. Select the pages to include, add them, and open a draft page to configure its audit.

Choose a pre-configured audit type that matches the question you want to answer. The available types load from the product catalog. Create from scratch is marked as coming soon and is not selectable.

Configure the audit

  1. 1Confirm the live page URL, including https://.
  2. 2Give the audit a recognizable name. Design Audit can suggest one from the URL and selected audit type.
  3. 3Choose Desktop or Mobile as the target device viewport.
  4. 4Review the selected evaluations, URL, and device, then select Create audit.

What happens next

Design Audit creates the audit record, visits the page, maps its content, runs the selected analysis, and prepares the report. You are taken directly to the report while it is processing.
