What the performance view contains

The Performance tab presents the available performance metrics, timing information, resource weights, and the most important optimization opportunity for the audited page.

Use the performance view alongside the other findings. Slow loading, heavy resources, and delayed content can affect the same task that the content and design evaluations describe.

Use performance information responsibly

• Compare the findings against the actual device and network context that matters to your users.
• Prioritize performance work that affects important content, key interactions, or conversion paths.
• Treat one measurement as a signal to investigate, then validate the underlying implementation with your engineering workflow.
